Q&A #272 - Continued gender conversation, existentialism, and more!

In our Q&A #270, Pastors Doug, Blake and Kyle discuss some AER and the following:
1. Can existentialist ideas belong in the church? This goes largely into the topic of meaning and purpose. Can we create our own meaning through serving Jesus but it’s US who creates it and not Him or is that completely against an attribute of who God is..this maker that takes care of us and ultimately creates us?
2. Gen 1:2 says that the earth was formless and empty. How can something that is created be formless? And what does it mean that such a thing is empty if it has no form? Is there something lost in translation?
