Sep 24, 2025

Welcome to the Inverted Orthodoxy Podcast! We're Blake, Kyle, and Doug the pastors from Living Springs, here to take you on a weekly adventure through the twists and turns of faith. Got questions? We've got answers, and sometimes more questions! Join us as we explore, celebrate, and embrace the beautiful complexities of belief. This weeks episode covered the following questions:

(2:24 into episode)

1. In John 16:33 Jesus says we will have trouble or struggles. How do we reconcile the trouble we have and his promise that his burden is easy and yoke is light. Surely these are opposites? Or are they referring to different things? What do you think?

2. In Exodus 33:11 it says that the Lord would speak to Moses face to face as a friend. Later in in verse 20 the Lord says to Moses "but you may not look directly at my face, for no one may see me and live" and He shields Moses from seeing His face as He passes by. How are two opposite things recorded in the same chapter?

3. Genesis 11:7 says, “Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” Who is the us referring to in this passage? Is it the trinity or some other group of heavenly beings?
